IESYTN HARRETT
TRIATHLON
Iestyn exhibited exceptional promise in the realm of triathlon at a remarkably young age. His journey commenced when he was recruited into the British Triathlon Talent squad at the age of 16, a step propelled by his triumph at the Inter-Regional Championships while representing Wales. Subsequently, Iestyn pursued both his athletic and academic development at Loughborough University, where he trained alongside numerous Olympians as a part of the esteemed World Class Performance Squad, all the while working toward a degree in Sport Science. However, upon transitioning into the professional realm in 2015, the anticipated results failed to materialise. It was only when Iestyn made the audacious choice to extricate himself from the structured squad environment in Loughborough and assumed full responsibility for his training that he began to unlock his genuine potential within the sport. Recently, he has transitioned into the long course domain of triathlon, harbouring aspirations of continued success on the global stage in the forthcoming years.
